Suryakumar Yadav Will Be The Man To Watch At The T20 World Cup, Calls Brad Hogg

Former Australian spinner Brad Hogg feels that the Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav might end up as the man of the tournament in the upcoming T20 World cup. India will have a good headache while picking up the squad for the T20 Worldcup with a lot of excellent performances already.
The likes of Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul have been performing really well in the last two years for India in limited-overs and it is going to be hard to leave out them from the playing XI. However, Suryakumar Yadav brings a different variety into the batting lineup and he will be a great addition to the squad.
Brad Hogg Reckons Suryakumar Yadav Could The Set The Tournament For India
Brag Hogg mentioned that Suryakumar Yadav could be the difference-maker in the tournament with extraordinary shot-making skills. He reckoned that Suryakumar could be the ideal man for India at the T20 World cup and he will be the player to watch out for. He also predicted Suryakumar to end up as the player of the tournament in the T20 Worldcup.
“I just think he is going to be the difference in this particular tournament. If he stands out and puts the bowlers off with that array of shots, I think he is going to set the tournament up for India. For me, I think Suryakumar Yadav is the man for India and I think he’s the man to watch at the T20 World Cup. I think he might be Player of the Series at the T20 World Cup. That’s a big call so far out.”
Brad Hogg Heaps Praises On Suryakumar Yadav
Brad Hogg is confident that Suryakumar Yadav will make it to the T20 World cup squad and has backed him to come in at the number 3 position with Rohit and Kohli opening the innings. He was impressed with the right hander’s shot-making and the ramp shots that he has been playing on both sides of the wicket.
“I think Suryakumar Yadav is definitely going to be in the World Cup. Virat Kohli will be opening with Rohit Sharma and you’ll have Suryakumar Yadav coming in at No. 3. I just think he’s expanded his game… the range of shots that he’s got… he’s unorthodox as well so he can play different ramp shots on both leg and offside, but he can also attack you and use his feet,”
Suryakumar Yadav finished as the man of the series on his debut series in the recently concluded ODI series against Sri Lanka.
