Suyash Sharma Bought By Royal Challengers Bengaluru For INR 2.60 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Suyash Sharma has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. A leg-spinner, the 21-year-old represents Delhi in first-class cricket.
Even before representing Delhi in senior cricket, Suyash made his debut in the IPL. His journey in the IPL began in 2023 with Kolkata Knight Riders. In his first IPL season, the spinner played 11 games and picked up 11 wickets.
A few months later, he made his List A debut for Delhi. He has yet to play a first-class game for his state team. In List A cricket, Suyash has picked up 10 wickets in 4 games.
For IPL 2024, he was a part of Kolkata Knight Riders' victorious team. However, he struggled to get a regular chance in the playing eleven as the Kolkata-based outfit preferred the likes of Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy ahead of him. In IPL 2024, Suyash played 2 games and could not pick any wicket.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have signed up Suyash Sharma for INR 2.60 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction.
Delhi Capitals made the opening bid before Royal Challengers Bengaluru as well as Mumbai Indians bid for the spinner. Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru made a number of bids. In the end, Bengaluru made the winning bid.
