The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) concluded the player auction for the upcoming fourth season of the T20 Mumbai League. Domestic players such as Akash Parkar, Prasad Pawar, Musheer Khan, and Arjun Tendulkar were among the most expensive signings in the men’s auction on Saturday, May 2.

The men’s franchises engaged in intense bidding, finalizing their squads for the 2026 season by combining experienced international players with emerging local talent. Before the men’s auction, tournament officials conducted the inaugural T20 Mumbai Women’s League auction on the same day.

Akash Parkar Becomes Most Expensive Buy in T20 Mumbai League Auction

The T20 Mumbai League 2026 auction witnessed strong demand for all-rounders and young talent. Akash Parkar emerged as the most expensive signing, as SoBo Mumbai Falcons secured him for ₹12 lakh after an intense bidding contest.

Arcs Andheri signed Prasad Pawar for ₹11.50 lakh and Musheer Khan for ₹11 lakh. They also added Arjun Tendulkar for ₹10 lakh, while Chinmay Sutar went to MSC Maratha Royals for ₹9.50 lakh.

Arjun Tendulkar, son of Sachin Tendulkar, entered the auction after switching to Goa in domestic cricket with BCCI approval and had not played any state T20 league in the past year. The fourth season, organized by the MCA, is set to begin in early June, with exact dates yet to be announced.
