India’s mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy is a former architect, and he compared the Indian skipper Virat Kohli to Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest building in the world. India hasn’t had the best of starts to their campaign in the T20 World cup 2021 but is looking to pull things back with the win over Afghanistan.

They still do not have their fortunes in their own hand, and it is going to be a decisive factor in moving to the semi-final spot in the tournament. They will have to win their remaining two games and hope that New Zealand loses one of their remaining games to stage a chance in the T20 World cup 2021 knock-out stages.

Varun Chakravarthy Reveals His Comparisons

Varun Chakravarthy first compared Virat Kohli to Burj Khalifa, stating that the Indian skipper is the tallest thing in the country at the moment in terms of cricket and then noted MS Dhoni as Burj Al Arab, which is an iconic building in Dubai. He stated that the coolness of the building is something that is associated with MS Dhoni. He finally compared Hardik Pandya to Atlantis for wearing the bling stuff.

“I would compare it to MS Dhoni. It’s a cool building in the sea,” Varun on comparing Burj Al Arab to a player.

“It is very blingy. I will compare it to Hardik because he wears a lot of bling stuff. I have been with him for one tour, and he likes to dress up nicely,” Varun Chakravarthy commented on comparing a player with Atlantis on ICC’s Twitter handle.

Varun Chakravarthy Could Return For Scotland Game

Varun Chakravarthy missed out on the game against Afghanistan, and Virat Kohli stated that he had a niggle. However, the mystery spinner was seen doing fielding drills ahead of the game against Scotland, and he could also return to the squad. In place of Chakravarthy, R Ashwin was included against Afghanistan, and he immediately paid off picking 2 wickets and gave away just 14 runs.
