Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fast bowler Mohammed Siraj might not have made a significant impact with the ball in the ongoing IPL 2024, but he and every Indian would want him to deliver his best in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

Siraj has taken only 8 wickets at an economy rate of 9.26 in 10 games so far for RCB in the ongoing IPL 2024. However, the RCB pacer earned a place in India’s 15-member preliminary squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, starting on June 1 in the USA and Caribbean.

The Indian pacer recently shared his aspirations of Team India being crowned T20 World Cup 2024 champions. Speaking on the RCB podcast, Siraj revealed that he is manifesting winning the coveted trophy with India upon waking up each morning.

The star pacer stressed that it is a huge honor for him to represent his country at the World Cup and expressed his desire to clinch the ICC trophy for India. He also thanked everyone for their blessings and love for the T20 World Cup 2024 selection.

When he was asked about RCB's prospects in the ongoing IPL 2024, Siraj laughed loudly before expressing his confidence in the franchise's future success in the IPL and urging fans to continue showing their unwavering support to the team.

Mohammed Siraj said in the podcast: “It is your blessings that I have been named in the T20 World Cup squad. It is every player's dream that they want to play for their country, especially in the World Cup. Every morning, I wake up, I manifest that I am lifting the World Cup trophy.”

Speaking about donating his prize money to the groundsmen in Sri Lanka during Asia Cup 2023, Siraj said: “When I grew up, my family always taught me to help someone. So, I had the same thoughts because it was raining there and they were bringing covers. They worked so hard. So, I realized how hard they have worked hard and they are not wearing anything in the rain, so it was easy decision.”

Speaking about RCB’s IPL 2024 campaign, the franchise is currently in the 7th spot with 8 points and 11 games, winning only four games from their 7 outings so far in the tournament. RCB have now only three games left to play this season: against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) on May 9, the Delhi Capitals (DC) on May 12, and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on May 18.

On the other hand, India's 15-member squad is the perfect blend of experienced players and emerging talents. Rishabh Pant's return bolsters the team's depth, while Sanju Samson is another wicketkeeper-batter in the squad. Shivam Dube's explosive IPL 2024 performance earned him a spot.

The spin department boasts Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Yuzvendra Chahal, while the pace attack features Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj, and Hardik Pandya. India’s batting line-up features Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Suryakumar Yadav.

Additionally, India’s T20 World Cup 2024 squad also has reserves like Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed, and Avesh Khan. They are likely to travel to the USA on May 21.
