T20 World Cup 2024: 'He's going to show all anger against MI bowlers' - Twitter reacts as KL Rahul fails to make the cut for WC

The 15-member India squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024 was announced on Tuesday (April 30). The Ajit Agarkar-led selection panel has decided against springing too many surprises in the squad for the marquee event.
Rohit Sharma will lead the team while Hardik Pandya, who led the T20I team last year, has been named as his deputy. Yashasvi Jaiswal has been picked as Rohit Sharma's opening partner for the tournament. Virat Kohli has also made the cut for the marquee event after several reports stated that the former India captain is in danger of missing out.
Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube are the specialist middle-order batters while Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson are the two wicketkeepers in the team. Along with Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel are the other allrounders in the team while Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav have been named as the frontline spinners. Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, and Mohammed Siraj will take care of the pace department.
KL Rahul misses out:
One of the notable absentees from the India squad for the ICC T20 World Cup squad is KL Rahul. The wicketkeeper-batsman was targeting the opener's slot but has missed out. KL Rahul had opened the innings for Team India in the last two editions of the T20 World Cup.
And while he has not played a T20I since the 2022 T20 World Cup semifinal clash against England, many expected him to make the cut for the upcoming event after his impressive display in the ODI World Cup last year. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal's emergence and his fine run in IPL as well as international cricket has dashed Rahul's hopes.
