His lethal combination of skill, precision, and strategy was on full display, as he helped India secure a mammoth 227-run lead by helping them to bowl Bangladesh out for a mere 149 runs in their first innings in the ongoing first Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Meanwhile, former Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal hailed Jasprit Bumrah's genius, saying the Indian pacer has not only incredible skills, but also incredible brains, and this combo is deadly. His knack for reading the game and overthinking the batters has made him a standout bowler in world cricket.

His impact extends far beyond the boundaries of India, inspiring cricketers across the globe, with young talents even trying to emulate his unique bowling action. The bowler's rise through the ranks has been nothing short of extraordinary, and his influence on the game is just incredible.

Tamim Iqbal said on Jio Cinema: “He has incredible skills, but he has incredible brains as well on his shoulders. People are not only copying his action in India; I can assure you it's around the world. He has that impact in world cricket.”
