Team India's Schedule For 2022

Team India are currently playing the first of the three Tests scheduled in South Africa. The first Test of the series began on 26th December 2021 and will conclude on 30th December 2021. The three Tests will be followed by three ODIs, starting from 19th January 2021. Barring the first Test, all the matches of the tour are scheduled to be played in the month of January.
If you are a cricket fan, then 2022 has a lot in store for you. India’s ongoing tour of South Africa is the first major assignment this year. After playing against South Africa, India will play 3 ODIs and as many T20 internationals against West Indies at home, scheduled in the month of February.
Sri Lanka will then visit India for 2 Tests and three T20 internationals, scheduled to be held from 25th February to 18th March 2022. Between the months of April and June 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League is expected to happen.
South Africa visit India for a five-match T20 series in the month of June. India will then tour to England for one remaining Test, which got postponed earlier this year. After that, they will play three T20s and three ODIs as well.
In the month of July-August, India will tour West Indies. The much-awaited Asia Cup 2022 is scheduled to be held in the month of September. The Dates and venues of which are yet to be announced. Australia’s tour of India is scheduled to be held between September and October, which will comprise 4 Tests and 3 T20 internationals.
India will then participate in the most important tournament of the year 2022 i.e., ICC T20 World Cup 2022. India will end the year 2022 with 2 Tests, 3 ODIs in Bangladesh and 5 ODIs against Sri Lanka at home between November and December. Here’s a look at India’s complete Cricket Schedule for 2022.
