The Hundred Women 2026 Teams

Eight franchises will compete in The Hundred Women 2026, with each side playing eight league-stage matches before the top three teams qualify for the playoffs.

The participating teams are:

  • MI London Women
  • Sunrisers Leeds Women
  • Southern Brave Women
  • London Spirit Women
  • Trent Rockets Women
  • Birmingham Phoenix Women
  • Welsh Fire Women
  • Manchester Super Giants Women

Like the men's competition, the women's tournament has also entered a new era following investment from IPL franchise owners. As a result, Oval Invincibles, Northern Superchargers and Manchester Originals have been rebranded as MI London, Sunrisers Leeds and Manchester Super Giants respectively.

The competition follows a league format in which every team faces each opponent once. The team finishing at the top of the points table will qualify directly for the final, while the second and third-placed teams will battle in the Eliminator for the remaining spot.

Indian Players to Watch in The Hundred Women 2026

Four Indian stars are set to feature in The Hundred Women 2026, adding significant interest for fans in India.

Smriti Mandhana (Manchester Super Giants Women)

One of the biggest names in women's cricket, Smriti Mandhana returns to The Hundred Women after missing the previous season. The left-handed opener has joined Manchester Super Giants Women after spending the first four editions with Southern Brave. Mandhana was part of Southern Brave's title-winning campaign in 2023 and will now look to guide her new franchise alongside captain Meg Lanning.

Richa Ghosh (Manchester Super Giants Women)

India wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh will also represent Manchester Super Giants Women, reuniting with Mandhana after the duo played together for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Women's Premier League (WPL). Ghosh will be aiming for a stronger campaign after modest performances in her previous Hundred appearances.

Jemimah Rodrigues (Southern Brave Women)

Stylish batter Jemimah Rodrigues has switched to Southern Brave Women after previously representing Sunrisers Leeds (formerly Northern Superchargers). Rodrigues enjoyed an impressive debut season in 2021 and will be hoping to rediscover that form alongside several experienced international teammates.

Deepti Sharma (Sunrisers Leeds Women)

India all-rounder Deepti Sharma returns to the competition after starring in her previous Hundred campaign. The off-spinning all-rounder, who played a key role in London Spirit's title-winning run in 2024, will now represent Sunrisers Leeds Women. Her ability to contribute with both bat and ball makes her one of the tournament's standout overseas players.

The Hundred Women 2026 Final Date

The knockout stage of The Hundred Women 2026 begins with the Eliminator on August 14, where the teams finishing second and third in the league standings will compete for a place in the championship match. The Final is scheduled to be played on August 16, 2026.

As in previous editions, the team finishing at the top of the league table will qualify directly for the Final, while the Eliminator winners will join them in the title clash. The venue and match timings for both knockout fixtures will be confirmed closer to the tournament.
