The renowned Trent Bridge cricket ground in Nottingham will honour Former England pacer Stuart Broad by renaming the Pavilion End in his honour. This renaming of the Pavilion End at the iconic venue will stand as a fitting tribute to Stuart Broad’s illustrious career.
Stuart Broad retired as England’s second-highest wicket-taker in Tests with 604 wickets. He was the fifth-leading wicket-taker in red-ball cricket and the second pacer to achieve over 600 Test wickets. He ended his international career with 847 wickets across all formats.

Nottinghamshire Chairman Andy Hunt acknowledged Stuart Broad‘s impressive career and emphasized that he deserves recognition for his remarkable accomplishments.
“Stuart’s achievements at the highest level are quite remarkable – it’s highly unlikely we’ll ever see another English bowler match his record over the past 15 years, let alone one from within our county’s borders,” Hunt said.

The Nottinghamshire seamer finished as England’s highest wicket-taker in the latest Ashes edition with 22 wickets in 10 innings. He picked up the wicket on his final ball in international cricket, helping his team level the five-match series 2-2.
Stuart Broad Has Been The Perfect Ambassador For Nottinghamshire – Andy Hunt
Hunt emphasized Stuart Broad’s contributions both on the field with the ball and off the field, describing him as an exceptional ambassador for Nottinghamshire.
“Throughout that time, Stuart has been the perfect ambassador for Nottinghamshire – not just through his deeds with the ball, but also through his unstinting commitment to the cause for his county and his continued championing of Trent Bridge on the world stage,” Hunt further added.
“It feels only fitting that the end of his home ground where he recorded some of his greatest achievements will now serve as a permanent honour to his cricketing career.”
Stuart Broad and James Anderson had a prolific partnership in 138 longer-format matches, grabbing 537 wickets, including 46 five-wicket hauls and six 10-wicket hauls. The 37-year-old achieved his career-best Test cricket figures of 8-15 at Trent Bridge.
