The Journey Continues: Sanju Samson Writes A Heartfelt Post On Twitter After A Disappointing Stint In Sri Lanka

India and Kerala wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson endured a forgettable tour of Sri Lanka where he once again flattered to deceive.

Samson started off the tour on a promising note as he scored a stylish 46 on his ODI debut in the third game of the series.

However, his performances went downhill as the tour progressed and it reached its lowest point in the series-deciding final T20I where he failed to trouble the scorers.

In three T20I matches, Samson registered scores of 27,7 and 0.

The enigmatic Samson has now played 10 T20Is in which he has managed a mere 117 runs at an average of 11.7 and a strike rate of 110.37. He is yet to cross the 30-run-mark in Indian colors.

Amid heavy criticism from fans as well as pundits, Sanju Samson took to his official Twitter account where he wrote that the Sri Lankan tour was a mixture of some good memories and a few bitter ones.

He further added that he is grateful for everything happening around him besides asserting that his journey will continue despite the current blip.

”Some nice memories and some bitter ones, that’s the way of life and this wonderful game !! Respecting and being grateful to everything happening around… The JOURNEY continues ???,” wrote Sanju Samson.
