Former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal asserted that Gautam Gambhir and Ishant Sharma are good friends with him and their rivalry from the past has been left behind.
In an interview with Legends League Cricket, Akmal stated that their heated on-field discussion happened due to a misunderstanding. Nevertheless, they have made up and are good friends now.
“Things heated up a bit with Gautam Gambhir during the 2010 Asia Cup but it was all due to misunderstandings. He is a very good friend. We have played a lot of ‘A’ cricket together. There is no such rivalry with Ishant Sharma too,” Akmal said in the interview.
