'These Teams Seems To Have Stronger Batting Depth' : Brad Hogg Opines On The T20 World Cup Semi-Finalists

Former Australian spinner Brad Hogg has named his four favourites for the semi-final spots ahead of the T20 World Cup later this year from October to November. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the T20 World Cup this year after the BCCI shifted it from India. Brad Hogg believes that India, West Indies, England, and New Zealand are the frontrunners to reach the semi-final of the tournament.

West Indies, the defending champions, arguably have the best team for the shortest format. Not only do they have power-hitters, but the Caribbeans also have able spinners and fast bowlers to defend the crown. As much as the West Indies have built well for the tournament, India has done the same. The men in blue have plenty of options to choose from and are a dangerous side, capable of lifting the trophy again.
As for England, the number one T20I team recently beat Sri Lanka and Pakistan to flex their bench strength. The Three Lions, winners of the 2010 T20 World Cup and the runners-up of the previous edition, have all the ingredients to win their second T20 title. New Zealand are an equally lethal line-up and can run through any side on their day. Kane Williamson’s calmness is the most significant point of strength for the Kiwis, while his guile is equally effective. The Black Caps are also the only side on this list not to have won the T20 World Cup.
Below is Brad Hogg’s reply to a question asked by a fan:
India, New Zealand, England and West Indies. That is on what I have seen into the lead up. These teams seam to have stronger batting depth. #T20WC https://t.co/f0mn9BigEv
