Fans on Twitter reacted after Pakistan National Cricket Team batter Babar Azam bagged another failure in Test cricket for the team. The star batter bagged a low score in the ongoing first Test against the England National Cricket Team, which is taking place at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan.
In what has been a road-like pitch in Multan, Babar Azam failed to set the stage on fire in Test cricket. Coming into the game, there were a lot of expectations from him, but he yet again disappointed fans as he was back in the hut after scoring just 30 runs in the first innings of the game.
Babar Azam perishes to Chris Woakes in the first Test against England
Babar Azam walked out to bat at No.4 after Shan Masood (151) and Abdullah Shafique (105) set a great platform for the team. The right-hander started positively with the bat and it seemed that he would return to form in the ongoing Test.
Babar Azam, who hasn't hit a fifty in Test cricket in 2022, looked pretty solid at the crease but he couldn't carry on the start that he had. The right-hander was removed by England National Cricket Team pacer Chris Woakes on the stroke of stumps Om Day 1 of the ongoing game.
Chris Woakes bowled a fullish delivery that nipped in ever so slightly. Babar Azam shuffled across and missed the forward block; the ball struck him in front of the middle, and ball tracking showed it to be smashing into a leg stump to send the batter packing.
Babar Azam scored just 64 runs in four innings against Bangladesh
Babar Azam ended with an inning of 30 runs off 71 balls. He also slammed 5 boundaries during his knock. His horrendous run in the longest format of the game.
In the last series against Bangladesh, he slammed just 64 runs in four innings at an average of 16 and a strike rate of 43.53 with a top score of 31. He was criticised a lot for his failures and to worsen the case more, he yet again bagged a low score.

A lot of criticism of the pitch for being a road. Babar Azam has just made his contribution to distract the critics.
