High-flying Team India has already booked their place in the Super 4s of the ongoing Asia Cup 2025. India is the only team to qualify for the next stage at present.
The Men in Blue are in Group A along with UAE, Oman, and Pakistan, while Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong are in Group B.
India began their campaign with a thumping 9-wicket win over UAE in Dubai. Bowling first, the reigning champions bowled out the UAE for just 57 runs before chasing down the total in less than five overs.

In their next outing, India thrashed arch-rivals Pakistan by seven wickets to book their next in the Super 4s. It was a one-sided contest as India completely outplayed the Men in Green.
Batting first, Pakistan scored a modest total of 127/9 in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, India chased down the total in less than 16 overs with seven wickets in hand.
Tilak Varma goes topless
India's final group game is against Oman. The match is scheduled to take place on Friday (September 19) in Abu Dhabi. Ahead of the match, the Indian players have been busy sweating it out in the nets under the sweltering heat.
Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the two venues for the ongoing Asia Cup, are reeling under excessive heat. Such was the condition in the Gulf country that India star Tilak Varma decided to train in the nets without any shirt. He decided to train topless to counter the excessive heat.
Wearing a full pant, Tilak Varma was seen standing near the nets with a bat in his hand. He was also seen having an animated discussion with a member of the support staff.

Tilak did not get the chance to bat against the UAE before playing a handy knock against Pakistan.
India were on 41/2 when Tilak Varma joined Suryakumar Yadav in the middle. They added 56 runs for the third wicket to all but seal the game for India.
