India have played three matches in the Australia T20Is so far. The first match was washed away by excessive rain after Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill gave them a good start. The second match saw the Australian bowlers dominate, with Josh Hazlewood being the pick of the bowlers.

The Indian and Australian teams marked their third appearance in the series with a dominating victory over the Aussies. They have come from behind to draw the series 1-1 in Hobart.
