5. MS Dhoni
One of the most successful IPL captains, MS Dhoni, is fifth on the list of batters with the most runs in the IPL final.
Dhoni has scored 180 runs in the IPL finals, having played eleven IPL finals, which is the most by any player in the history of the tournament, ten of which have come for CSK.
Dhoni played his first IPL final in the inaugural edition of the league in 2008, which the Chennai Super Kings lost in a close finish against the Rajasthan Royals.

4. Murali Vijay

Rohit Sharma has played the second-most number of IPL finals, six to be precise, and has the unique record of winning all of those.
The former MI captain is the third-highest run scorer in the IPL final, having scored 183 runs in six games, including a match-winning half-century in the 2015 edition, which guided MI to their second IPL title.
2. Shane Watson
The former Australian all-rounder was a part of the final of the 2008 edition while playing for the Rajasthan Royals and made a habit of it by featuring in three more finals for two different teams.
