Try What You Want In Fast Bowling, But Play Both Kuldeep Yadav And Yuzvendra Chahal Together In ODIs - Aakash Chopra

Former India batsman, Aakash Chopra calls for the inclusion of both Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav in the ODI series against England which begins on Tuesday. Both the leg-spinners have not played a single ODI together since the game against England in the 2019 World Cup.
Aakash Chopra points out that Kuldeep has already been dropped from the Test and T20I team. He reckons if Kuldeep doesn’t feature in the ODIs as well, then his career is in serious jeopardy; the chinaman has travelled with the side for a long time but with little game time.
“You can try what you want in fast bowling but in the spin department you should please play both Kuldeep and Chahal because if you don’t play them here also, then what will Kuldeep do. You don’t play him in the Tests or T20s, if you don’t play him in the ODIs also then what’s the point,” Aakash Chopra was quoted as saying by India Today.
Don’t feel bad if you can’t fit both Pant and Rahul in the same team: Aakash Chopra
The cricketer-turned-commentator also spoke about KL Rahul’s uncertain position in the eleven. Chopra explains that since Shreyas Iyer is a lock at number 4 in the ODI side, and with Rishabh Pant back in the ODI mix, it would be difficult to fit KL Rahul in the middle-order as his previous role of keeper-batsman, especially after his recent slump in form.
“Shreyas Iyer will be batting at No.4. The big question will be if you can fit both KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant in the team. Do it if possible but if not, don’t really feel bad about it. But for me the one objective is to win the series,” Aakash Chopra added.
