Tushar Deshpande Bought By Rajasthan Royals For INR 6.50 crore at IPL Auction 2025

Tushar Deshpande has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 1 crore. The right-arm pacer played for Chennai Super Kings in the last season of the IPL.
His IPL journey began in 2020 with Delhi Capitals. In his debut season, Tushar played 5 games and picked up 3 wickets. He did not play any game in 2021 before representing Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2022.
He played only 2 games in 2022. In IPL 2023, Tushar enjoyed a breakthrough season. In 16 games, he picked up 21 wickets and helped Chennai Super Kings win the IPL for a record-equaling fifth time. The Mumbai pacer was a regular for the Chennai Super Kings in the 2024 season as well.
In the last IPL season, he played 13 games and picked up 17 wickets. Overall, Deshpande has played 36 games in the IPL so far and has taken 42 wickets. Earlier this year, he also made his T20I debut for Team India during the tour of Zimbabwe.

Rajasthan Royals have signed up Tushar Deshpande for INR 6.50 crore. Chennai Super Kings looked determined to sign their former pacer as they made the first bid. They were involved in a fierce battle with the Royals before deciding to pull out of the race at 6.50 crore mark. The Super Kings also decided against opting for the RTM option.
