Oh, Ravindra Jadeja! Oh, you freaking superstar! What is it that you cannot do? Chennai Super Kings and his millions of Indian fans must be wondering the same in absolute awe as they watched the Indian all-rounder smash, Harshal Patel, for a record-leveling 37 runs in one over.

Harshal Patel was flying high. Very high. With a slew of slower bouncers, he had knocked over the likes of Faf du Plessis, Suresh Raina, and Ambati Rayudu in his first three overs.

Virat Kohli trusted his death-over specialist to close out the innings with another good over and then mayhem ensued.

His ploy of bowling slower balls had worked against other batsmen but it proved to be a fatal plan against Jadeja, who sat deep in his crease and smashed him for fun between mid-wicket and long-on region.

Patel went for a couple of sixes on his first two deliveries, out of which the second ball turned out to be a no-ball.

Ravindra Jadeja hammered another six on a waist-high full-toss on the very next delivery. Patel had clearly lost the track as Jadeja once again sat deep in his crease and mowed another shorter length slower delivery for the fourth six of the over to storm to a 25-ball 50.

Jadeja finished it off with a four and a six besides squeezing in a double to ensure that CSK finished at 4/191.
