Both India and South Africa are unbeaten in T20 World Cup 2024

South Africa have been outstanding this season and their performance has improved with every game. They looked slightly out of touch in the group stage but were brilliant in the Super 8 stage, where they defeated big teams like West Indies and England.

South Africa's batting has struggled with only Quinton de Kock showing some form in the past few games. But they have a solid and experienced middle order which looks daunting on paper. The Proteas have Aiden Markram, David Miller, Heinrich Klaasen, and Tristan Stubbs and will boast a serious challenge to the Indian bowling attack.

With the ball, South Africa have been on fire so far. Anrich Nortje is their highest wicket-taker with 13 wickets from 8 matches so far. Other quicks Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen have given him great support as well. Left-arm wrist-spinner Tabraiz Shamsi has already picked up 11 wickets in just 4 matches and is likely to play the final.

On the other hand, India looks like a well-oiled machine as well. The batters have raised their hands up on several occasions. Skipper Rohit Sharma has led from the front and is the highest run-scorer for India so far. Rohit has scored 248 runs in seven matches so far at an average of 41.33 and a strike rate of 155.97. His aggressive intent has been refreshing to see.

Indian bowlers have been outstanding with both the fast bowlers and the spinners doing their job well. Jasprit Bumrah has been miserly as ever and has picked up 13 wickets from 7 games and has an extraordinary economy rate of just 4.12.

Arshdeep Singh is the second-highest wicket-taker of the tournament so far with 15 scalps from seven matches so far. Among the spinners, Kuldeep Yadav has picked up 10 wickets in just 4 games and will be threatening on a spin-friendly track at Barbados.
