Sheikh Zayed Stadium (Abu Dhabi) will host the first ODI of this series between UAE and Ireland. In ODI cricket, the first batting sides generally enjoy more than the chasing teams. If we see the record of 45 resulted ODIs at this venue, the first batting sides won 29 games and the second batting teams won 16 other ODIs.

However, we can see more differences in the record of only day ODI matches at this venue as the first batting sides have hardly lost the game. In the 9 day ODIs at this venue, the batting first teams achieved ultimate victories for 7 times and the chasing teams recorded victories for only twice.

So, watching the venue stats, we can easily say that the both teams will try to bat first on Friday morning.
