Hosts USA takes on Canada in the first match of the T20 World Cup 2024 in Dallas on Sunday, June 2 from 6 am IST, which is 7.30 pm local time. Co-hosts West Indies play against Papua New Guinea.
USA will be led by Monank Patel. The hosts recently played a T20I series against Bangladesh and defeated them 2-1. The series win will give them huge confidence leading into the World Cup.
USA are among the 20 teams playing in this tournament. They are placed alongside India, Pakistan, Canada, and Ireland in Group A. The tournament will be played across nine venues in the US and the Caribbean with the final scheduled on June 29.
