Bangladesh are on the verge of being clean-swept after losing the first two games. USA won the first T20I by five wickets chasing 154 and won the second T20I by six runs defending 144. It was a stunning series defeat and definitely one of the lowest points in Bangladesh cricket. 

Bangladesh won the T20I series against Zimbabwe 4-1 they played at home. However, they fell flat as they lost to the USA to mark one of their worst performances in recent times. 

The senior Bangladesh players failed to handle the challenge in the first two games. They were well below par with the bat in the two games that they played. Veteran Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan said that this series loss to the USA was a wake-up call for the team ahead of the T20 World Cup.

He further said that no one saw this coming and as a team, the players will need to take full responsibility for their performance in the first two games so far. The Tigers now will have to win the final game to avoid a 3-0 series defeat. 

Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto in the post-match presentation lamented the team losing wickets in clusters in the lower-order. He said losing wickets in the middle overs was the reason why they lost the second T20I.
