India captain Rohit Sharma has yet again stolen the limelight with his on-field antics during the game against England. The fifth and final game of the series between the teams is taking place at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.

India have been put into the bowl in the ongoing fifth Test against England in Dharamsala. They have been decent with the ball so far and the cat-and-mouse play with visitors’ attacking mindset is going on and is keeping the crowd entertained at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium.

Amid all the high intensity between India and England, Rohit Sharma with his hilarious nature caught the attention of many. During the 11th over of the first innings, England batter Zak Crawley clipped an inswinger from Jasprit Bumrah off his pads.

The ball was racing away but pacer Mohammed Siraj was after the ball, giving it the chase. The fast bowler, however, slipped before gathering the ball and looked in pain. He was seen holding his knee and wincing, which was a scary moment for Team India.

However, Rohit Sharma dealt with it hilariously. The India captain was seen yelling Uth jaa, uth jaa… Sabash! (get up, get up, come on).” After this Mohammed Siraj took just a couple of seconds and was back on the field, highlighting the captain’s motivation did wonders for him.

After dealing with an injury scare, Mohammed Siraj was given the ball by skipper Rohit Sharma to bowl his 6th over on the trot. The pacer, however, responded brilliantly as he nearly removed Zak Crawley by trapping him in lbw on the second last ball of the over.

Rohit Sharma has been keeping his team up and going in the ongoing game. He has been brilliant with his bowling changes in the ongoing game. The way he has used his bowlers is sensational and everything that he has touched has turned into gold in the game.

Coming to the game, Indian bowlers have turned the game in their heads and have made a mockery of the English batting lineup. They have picked 5 wickets in no time and have reduced the opposition from 100/2 to 175/6.

It was a great series for me to learn as a captain – Rohit Sharma

India captain Rohit Sharma on the eve of the fifth Test spoke about the challenges that he has faced as a skipper of the team in the ongoing series. He said that it has been a series of comebacks for them and he has learned as captain a lot. He explained:

Since I became captain, I haven’t played with a full team. It’s no excuse… work with what you have, keep a good atmosphere, and play with freedom. Basically, it has been a series of comebacks. So, throughout the series, you must have seen that we have absorbed pressure and put it back on the opposition. It was a great series for me to learn as a captain and there were a lot of different challenges that came across our way.

India have already won the series by a margin of 3-1. They would be hoping to win the ongoing game and bag the series by 4-1 along with crucial World Test Championship points.
