India’s 14-year-old wonder kid Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was recently spotted at a stand-up show, which has later turned into a full-on celebration of his fearless cricket. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi enjoyed every moment as comedian Pranit More roasted Pakistani players with bold jokes.
Comedy night turns into Vaibhav Sooryavanshi celebration
The highlight of the night was the trolling of Pakistan and Babar Azam. Pranit More joked that he would never roast the young left-handed batter because the teenager already “smashes Pakistanis” on the field. And Vaibhav burst into laughter.

The comedian also highlighted the Bihar opener’s recent remarkable performance. The youngster delivered one of the greatest performances in youth cricket history at the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026. He helped India to clinch their sixth Under-19 World Cup title and won the Player of the Tournament award.
Under-19 World Cup Heroics
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi finished as the second-highest run scorer in the tournament with 439 runs in just seven innings at a stunning strike rate of 169.49. The final against England on February 6 became his biggest statement. He had saved his best for the final against England Under-19.
The young sensation smashed 175 runs off just 80 balls with the help of 15 fours and 15 sixes. It became the highest score ever in an ICC tournament final at any level.
During the comedy show, Pranit More also joked about Vaibhav’s growing fame. He spoke about his brand deals, especially his Complan advertisement. The comedian hilariously said many players must have started drinking the nutrition powder after watching Vaibhav’s explosive hitting.
“Complan for Babar Azam?” Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s laughter goes viral
Then came another punchline. More teased that even Babar Azam might need Complan to improve his strike rate. The crowd erupted. Vaibhav could not stop laughing, and the clip of the moment went viral across social media platforms.

Pressure continues to build on Babar Azam over his strike rate in the shorter format of the game. Fans often mock his slow batting, calling him a “stat-padder” and “tuk-tuk” batter for playing too many dot balls. The criticism grew louder during the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026.
In Pakistan’s opening match against the Netherlands on February 7, Babar scored just 15 runs off 18 balls at a strike rate of 83.33. The former Pakistan captain’s overall T20I strike rate is 128.29, which is too low in the modern era. He had even once lost his place because of his slow batting.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi ready for academic test from February 17
Meanwhile, Vaibhav will appear for the exams at Podar International School, and Principal Neel Kishore confirmed that the 14-year-old will not get any special treatment.
The principal stated, “Cricketer Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will appear for the Class 10th board exams at our school. He has received his admit card. There is excitement among everyone, be they teachers, students, or parents, for his arrival.
However, we have made arrangements with that in mind, as he is still a student and will be appearing for his examination. This is an academic pitch, not a cricket pitch. We will ensure students have no issues taking the exams. All the facilities, safety, and security will be the same for all. Exams will start on February 17.”
