However, the India A series usually does not attract massive interest among the broadcasters, but this time, the Rajasthan Royals sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s presence made a big impact. In a significant development, Sony Sports has announced it will broadcast the live matches of the India A series in Sri Lanka.
Sony Sports, which holds the rights for cricket played in Sri Lanka, has decided to provide full live coverage of the tournament. They are the official broadcast partner of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC). The upcoming one-day tri-series will be shown on Sony Sports and streamed on Sony LIV.

T20I series likely to get green signal
Meanwhile, there is still no official update on the proposed three-match T20I series that could be added to the upcoming two-match Test series. However, sources close to the BCCI and Sri Lanka Cricket believe that the chances of the T20I series getting approved are quite high.

In another important update, the BCCI has named Ruturaj Gaikwad as the replacement for vice-captain Riyan Parag. The change was made after Parag was ruled out while recovering from an injury, giving Gaikwad an opportunity to impress selectors to earn recall to the senior side.

Cummins said on Fox Cricket, “He's a talent. He hits the ball a long way; he hits very hard. Margins for error are very small. He's a real talent, pretty tough to bowl to. Pretty much, and wishing he was in high school, so I didn't have to bowl at him. It's just incredible. Like, I don't think I've seen batting like that, let alone from a 15-year-old kid. Whether he's 30 or 15, he's just a very good hitter of the ball.”
