Rajasthan Royals’ 15-year-old sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has taken the cricket world by storm after his heroics in IPL 2026. Vaibhav arguably reached his zenith after his sensational innings of 97 runs in just 29 balls against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator on Wednesday.
After all his heroics, a new report has emerged claiming that Sooryavanshi’s net worth has already hit the INR 10 crore mark and that he has already bought property in a prime location in Mumbai.
Sooryavanshi outshines Sunrisers
In the Eliminator at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi broke several records and ended the Sunrisers Hyderabad’s IPL 2026 campaign.
Sooryavanshi reached his fifty off just 19 balls on Wednesday and was batting on 60 runs from 20 balls at the end of the powerplay. With the field restrictions on, Sooryavanshi hit 8 sixes in the first 6 overs of the match.
Eventually, Sooryavanshi ended on 97 runs from just 29 balls with a total of 12 sixes, and narrowly missed out on the record for the fastest century in IPL history. Dhruv Jurel made a 20-ball fifty as well, but all the other RR batters were limited to cameos that gave SRH 244 to chase.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad couldn’t really set the ball rolling. Abhishek Sharma fell for a two-ball duck, and Ishan Kishan’s aggressive cameo was cut short. Jofra Archer dismissed both of them and Travis Head within the powerplay itself, and that was that.
Nitish Reddy and Salil Arora made some contributions, but all they did was keep the loss margin down to 47 runs.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's net worth
A new report by Housivity.com has detailed the full extent of Sooryavanshi’s net worth and assets, even though he is still a minor.
Sooryavanshi’s IPL salary is Rs 1.1 crore, as paid to him by the Rajasthan Royals at the mega auction for IPL 2025. He has received that amount both last year and this year. In 2025, the BCCI mandated that all players who play IPL matches would receive a match fee of Rs 7.5 lakhs on top of their auction prices. Sooryavanshi’s match fees have now tallied up to Rs 1.65 crores after playing 22 matches.
The report also claims that Sooryavanshi owns an apartment in Mumbai, which is roughly worth Rs. 3 crores. Similarly, his ancestral home in the Samastipur district of Bihar was valued between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 60 lakh.
Last year, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi won the IPL Super Striker of the Season Award, given to the player with the highest strike rate in the season, and was gifted the Tata Curvv EV, reportedly worth Rs. 17 lakh. He is on track to win the award once again this year.
Ranjit Barthakur, a co-owner of the Rajasthan Royals, reportedly gifted Sooryavanshi a Mercedes-Benz, according to Gulf News. And earlier this year, the Bihar government announced a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh for him after his heroics for India in the Under-19 World Cup.
The final verdict is that Sooryavanshi’s current net worth is approximately Rs 7 crores, considering his salary, cash prizes, and assets. With sponsorship deals taken into account, the figure might approach Rs 10 crores.
