Vidwath Kaverappa goes unsold at IPL Auction 2025

Vidwath Kaverappa has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. The 25-year-old is a right-arm pacer and plays for Karnataka in domestic cricket.

He made his first-class debut in 2022 and has played 21 games so far in the red-ball format. In those 21 games, Vidwath has picked up an impressive 82 wickets with the help of 5 five-wicket hauls.

He has played 18 List A games and taken 38 wickets while in T20s, he has 25 wickets from 14 games.

Vidwath is not new to IPL either although he is yet to prove himself in the tournament. He made his IPL debut in 2024 while playing for Punjab Kings. The youngster played only one game in his debut season and picked up 2 wickets.
