Virat Kohli has broken his silence on the tragic stampede that took place outside the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru during the Royal Challengers Bengaluru's victory celebration.

The victory celebration turned into a nightmare as what was meant to be a joyous occasion for the RCB fans ended in a horrific tragedy. The cheers of 'RCB, RCB' were replaced by ambulance sirens and cries for help. According to reports, 11 people lost their lives during the stampede and more than 30 sustained serious injuries.

Bengaluru police could not control the huge crowd as the victory parade descended into chaos after a stampede broke out and eventually turned deadly. While the stampede broke out outside the stadium, the RCB players and the support staff were being felicitated inside the stadium.
