Virat Kohli fires 'I don't have time' warning as Chinnaswamy crowd interrupts him during victory speech

Virat Kohli’s last 24 hours have been a rollercoaster ride as his dream finally came true after winning the maiden IPL title. After winning the championship, Kohli flew to Bengaluru with his franchise to celebrate the victory.
Kohli received a grand welcome at the airport and then moved to meet the Karnataka CM, where Kohli and co. were felicitated before heading to the M. Chinnaswamy stadium for the grand celebration.
Virat Kohli shut down by RCB fans
Virat Kohli entered the stadium with a grand reception, and the RCB squad climbed onto the stands. RCB skipper Rajat Patidar embraced the grand welcome and received a loud ovation from the fans.
Fans were waiting for Kohli to come up to greet his fans, and then Kohli waved his hands towards the crowd and kissed the IPL trophy in front of a jam-packed crowd in the stadium.
Players then went onto the ground to address the win in front of the crowd. Kohli tried to speak but was stopped twice as the noise from the fans got louder with every second.
"Firstly, I want to say…" he said before a loud cheer interrupted him. "Ok, I am going to start off by saying something that (again stops)."
After the crowd settled, Kohli stated that he didn’t have much time and thanked the fans.

Virat Kohli commenced his speech by saying it’s no more Ee Sala Cup Namde and raised his voice by saying Ee sala Cup Namdu. Kohli was happy as he ended the quest for his first IPL trophy with RCB and thanked fans for supporting him and the team for 18 years by trusting them over the years.
Finally, after letting the crowd settle, Kohli continued. "So I don't have much time. Let me talk. I am going to start off by repeating what our captain said. It's no more Ee sala cup namde. It's Ee saala cup namdu. We’ve done it, and this win is not just for me and the last 18 years, but for all of you. The fans, the people who have supported us." Kohli stated.
Kohli was also in tears when RCB won the IPL 2025 final against Punjab Kings. The chase master also pointed out that he had never witnessed a fan base like RCB in his career.
Virat Kohli passes his flowers to Rajat Patidar
Kohli ensured that the RCB skipper also got the opportunity to live the moment and welcomed his skipper on the stage after his speech. When Patidar came forward, Kohli handed him the flowers.
Patidar’s journey is no less than a fairytale as he came as a replacement in the RCB squad in 2021, and then with his performances, he won the trust from the franchise and rose above all the expectations from the management.
Patidar became the first skipper to lead RCB to glory after 17 years. The skipper also gets the backing of Kohli for the entire season, as when Patidar was announced as the skipper, Kohli requested to back their skipper and received a loud cheer from the crowd as Patidar proved himself.
