Virat Kohli issued major Mohammed Siraj warning ahead of RCB vs GT clash

Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan talked about the battle between Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj, which will be in the fray during the RCB vs GT clash in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. He said that the pacer can trouble the batter on the line outside off.

Mohammed Siraj will be playing at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru after a long time. The fast bowler will be turning up for the Gujarat Titans against his old franchise as the game between the two teams will be played on Wednesday (2nd April).

Siraj will have a massive point to prove in the match as the fast bowler was an integral part of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He wasn't retained by the franchise and he would want to make a huge statement and help his new team win.

Siraj has looked in decent touch with the ball in the ongoing IPL 2025. On the other hand, Virat Kohli, too, has looked solid with the bat, and the battle between the duo will be one of the key factors in deciding the winners of the match.

The battle I am looking forward to is Virat Kohli vs Mohammed Siraj. Siraj will need to bowl out of his boots. He is well aware he can bowl that line outside off to him. How Kohli counters it is another fascinating aspect of it,"

Irfan Pathan rates Shubman Gill vs Josh Hazlewood a battle in RCB vs GT clash

Irfan Pathan also talked about the key battles for the RCB vs GT clash. He said that the battle between Shubman Gill and and Josh Hazlewood will also be key for the team. He also stressed that Rashid Khan will also play a vital for Gujarat Titans.

"Josh Hazlewood has bowled 48 balls thus far in the IPL but not one has hit the stumps. If Shubman Gill faces a good length ball, his strike rate reads 100, but if the same length becomes short, his strike rate and average both will soar to 150. This is a key match-up," Pathan added.

"How Rashid against David and Livingstone is set up could decide the outcome of this game. Chinnaswamy doesn't offer much turn. Rashid is a champion bowler. He picked up 2 wickets for 10 runs in the last match but he didn't finish his quota of 4 overs. He would be eager to perform."
