India captain Virat Kohli was over the moon as the visitors slammed England in the fourth Test match by 151 runs and went 2-1 up in the five-match series with just one more Test match to go in Old Trafford, Manchester.
Virat also contributed with the bat as he made 50 in India’s first innings score of 191 and then made 44 as India looked to pile on a huge lead on England in the second innings. However, it was his captaincy that was praised especially when England was chasing the 368-run target on day five and his bowling changes and field placings were lauded by both the cricket pundits and the fans alike.
The India captain was amazing the way he pushed and encouraged his team throughout the match and even gave it back to the Barmy Army on day five as India registered a historic win at the Oval, only their second victory at the venue and first after 1971, 50 years ago.
There was a short moment that caught all the attention in the last game and it happened after India won the game on day five at The Oval.
