Recently, a video of veteran Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, went viral as the power couple was spotted taking a stroll in London. However, the end of the video marked a disgusted Virat Kohli, who seemed unhappy about the breach of privacy.

This is not the first time the power couple has been spotted together on the London streets taking casual strolls; they have been captured on several occasions earlier in India and now in England.

Due to this tremendous fame and lack of privacy, the couple decided to move from India to England to give their kids a better life away from this stardom.

Bollywood fame Madhuri Dixit's husband opens up on Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's move to London

In a recent interaction with a YouTuber, Ranveer Allahbadia, on his chat show, Madhuri Dixit's husband, Dr. Sriram Nene, shared that it was growing difficult for Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma to raise their kids away from the limelight, considering the widespread fame of the two in India.

“They were thinking about moving to London because they can’t enjoy their success (here). Anything they do attracts attention. We almost become isolated," said Dr. Nene.

Dr. Nene humbly remarked on the power couple's parenting goals. He remarked, "Anushka and Virat are lovely people who just want to raise their kids normally."

Virat Kohli announced his retirement from Tests before the India tour of England

Virat Kohli, the veteran Indian batter, retired from the longest format of the game, which marked a flurry of heartbreak among Indian cricket fans. The veteran retired without having reached the 10,000-run mark in the red-ball format.

Kohli has featured in 123 tests for India and has gone on to score 9230 runs in his test career, which spanned over a decade. The batter averaged over 50 for most of his career but ended his Test innings with a career average of 46.85.

Virat is also the fourth-highest run-getter for India in the longest format of the game, only behind the likes of great Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, and Rahul Dravid.

He is also known as one of the greatest ever Indian captains in the longest format of the game, having won 40 matches of the 68 games played by him in his career. Under his captaincy, India reached the No. 1 Test rankings for the first time in cricket history.

Virat Kohli to return to the Global T20 tournament with RCB

The long-forgotten Champions League T20 is all set to return in 2026 with a much bigger platform in the World Club Championship, which will supposedly be launched next year, as reported by The Cricketer.

This will bring together global cricketing icons from major T20 leagues like the Indian Premier League (IPL), Big Bash League (BBL), Pakistan Super League (PSL), SA20 and even The Hundred.

If this happens, likely Virat Kohli, who retired from international T20Is after India's win in the 2024 T20 World Cup, will once again be seen against teams from around the world in a massive T20 battle. Kohli would be seen representing the Royal Challengers Bangalore, as they are the champions of IPL 2025.
