The Indian team arrived at the renowned restaurant 'The British Raj' for Diwali dinner ahead of the clash against Australia in the Second ODI at Adelaide.
The entire Indian team, including Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, was spotted at the dinner. However, head coach Gautam Gambhir and batting coach Sitanshu Kotak were missing from the dinner visuals.
The challenging conditions in Perth led to the dismissal of the Indian legends, who were making their international comeback since March 2025.
The series now heads to Adelaide for the second ODI against Australia. This is the very ground where Virat Kohli has displayed his class on multiple occasions.
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma arrive with the Indian team for a Family dinner
The Indian team has been travelling to Australia for years, and they have been dining at this one common restaurant owned by an Indian man known to deliver the best Indian food in the city.
The restaurant was once again graced by the Indian team as they adhered to their ritual of dining at the restaurant at every Australian tour of theirs.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli led the Indian side into the restaurant, as several Indian fans from parts of the Australian city arrived to witness their stars.
Alongside the Indian team, the rest of the Indian support staff also arrived at the restaurant to celebrate the festival of lights with their second family, the Indian team. As mentioned earlier, Gautam Gambhir was not seen in the dinner visuals. However, he could have joined the team later.

Virat Kohli returns to his favourite Australian venue
Virat Kohli might have missed out on runs at Perth; however, the biggest positive for him is the return to his most iconic venue in Australia.
Before the start of the second ODI at Adelaide, Kohli had played in 12 matches at the venue and had amassed some stupendous records.
Across these outings, he has scored 975 runs, averaging nearly 65 at Adelaide, with the highest score of 141. He has hit a total of 5 centuries at this venue, and one of them was in the ICC World Cup 2015, with a century against Pakistan.
In ODI matches, he has played in 4 innings and the Indian batter has scored 244 runs, the highest among all active cricketers so far in the IPL, with an average of 61.
India's not-so-memorable record at the Adelaide Oval
Though Virat Kohli boasts an exceptional record at this venue, the India team does not have a great record against the Aussies. India has played in 6 One-day internationals at this venue and could manage a win on only 2 occasions.
While the record may not inspire much confidence in the Indian team, especially after Australia's dominating win in the first ODI, the Men in Blue can take heart from the fact that both victories came in the last two ODI encounters against Australia.
