India will return to Guwahati for the second ODI against West Indies, with Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma carrying impressive records at the venue. Both batters have played two ODIs at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium and have produced centuries in each of their appearances.
Virat Kohli has scored 140 and 113 in his two Guwahati ODIs, while Rohit has registered 152* and 83. With both batters having already made an impact in the opening game of the series, their record at the venue adds another layer of interest ahead of the second clash.

India have played only two ODIs at Guwahati so far, with both matches coming against different opponents. Virat Kohli has made the most of his opportunities at the venue, scoring 140 in 2018 against West Indies before following it up with 113 against Sri Lanka in 2023.
Rohit Sharma has also enjoyed batting in Guwahati. He remained unbeaten on 152 against West Indies in 2018 and scored 83 against Sri Lanka in 2023. The two experienced batters will now have another opportunity to add to those numbers.
What was the result of India's both ODI matches at Guwahati
India's first ODI at Guwahati came against West Indies in October 2018. The visitors posted 322/8 after Shimron Hetmyer smashed 106 off 78 balls and Kieran Powell contributed 51.
India chased down the target in just 42.1 overs, reaching 326/2 to win by eight wickets with 47 balls remaining. Rohit led the chase with an unbeaten 152 off 117 balls, while Kohli scored 140 from 107 deliveries. The pair added 246 runs for the second wicket after India lost Shikhar Dhawan early.
India's second ODI at the venue came against Sri Lanka in January 2023. Sri Lanka posted 306/8, with captain Dasun Shanaka scoring an unbeaten 108 off 88 balls and Pathum Nissanka making 72.
India again chased successfully, reaching 373/7 in 50 overs and winning by 67 runs. Kohli was the star of the innings with 113 off 87 balls, while Rohit contributed 83 from 67 deliveries. Shubman Gill also scored 70.

Kohli will enter the second ODI after scoring 139* against West Indies in the series opener in Thiruvananthapuram. His innings helped India chase 296 with eight wickets and 50 balls to spare.
The century also added several milestones to Virat Kohli's already extensive record book. He became the fastest batter to reach 15,000 ODI runs and also became the first player to score 7,000 ODI runs at home.
The 139* was Kohli's 55th ODI century and his 86th international hundred. He also became the first player to reach 30 ODI centuries in successful chases.
Kohli added to his records against West Indies as well. He moved to 10 international centuries against them in winning matches and joined the list for the most international centuries against the Caribbean side with 13.
The innings also took his ODI centuries in the current decade to 12, the most by any player. He became the first player to score 60 international centuries in victories and moved to 93 ODI scores of 50 or more in wins for India.
Kohli's latest hundred also took his tally of unbeaten 50-plus ODI scores to 37. He became the oldest Asian to score a century at a strike rate above 150 and set another mark with nine sixes in an ODI innings at the age of 37.
Interestingly, Kohli also holds the record for the most ODI runs at a venue without being dismissed, having accumulated 338 runs at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
