Virat Kohli Would Have Fitted Into Any Australian Team - Brett Lee
Speaking on Atharva Sudame's YouTube channel, Brett Lee said Virat Kohli's intensity, fitness, and competitive mindset would have made him a perfect fit in any Australian team. The former fast bowler praised Kohli's work ethic and his ability to combine aggression on the field with humility off it.
"First and foremost, Kohli. I know Kohli is getting towards the back end of his career now, and I had the chance to play against him. But I think Kohli, in his heyday, would have fitted into any Australian cricket team. He had the aggression and the fitness capacity," Lee said.
"He worked so hard on his game. He got in the players' faces without being too aggressive. Great guy off the field, and that's what Australia prides itself on. We want to be aggressive, but also be the kind of people others want to associate with off the pitch."
