In a major boost for Lancashire Lightning, swashbuckling wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler will be available in the upcoming edition of Vitality T20 Blast.
The upcoming edition of the Vitality Blast T20 will kick off on June 09 with the final taking place on September 18.
Buttler, who has made just three appearances in the T20 Blast in the last three years, will be available for six fixtures this season.
Jos Butter will begin his Vitality T20 Blast 2021 campaign with a couple of home fixtures against Derbyshire Falcons and Leicestershire Foxes at Old Trafford, Manchester, on June 09 and 10.
He will play four away games against Worcestershire Rapids, Derbyshire Falcons, Durham, and Birmingham Bears till June 20.
Buttler, who was a part of the 2015 winning team, is looking forward to making a mark and hopefully play a defining role in his team reaching yet another finals day.
“I really looking forward to pulling on the Red Rose of Lancashire once again. It has been a while, but I always receive a really warm welcome whenever I return to play at Emirates Old Trafford, whether that is with Lancashire or with England. I hope that I can help the lads to get off to a strong start in the Blast and lay the foundations for yet another run to Finals Day,” Jos Buttler said.
