Unfortunately for him and Team India, the all-rounder hurt his left shoulder on Wednesday during the match against Worcestershire as a result of a hard fall while fielding. He had to leave the field and receive treatment for the injury before returning. The degree of his ailment has not yet received an official update.

Washington Sundar has been named in the Indian squad:

The three-match ODI series between India and Zimbabwe, which begins on August 18, features Sundar on the roster, but his participation is currently in doubt due to a shoulder injury.
“After receiving treatment for his left shoulder following a rough landing, Washington Sundar has departed the field. Still no significant advances with the ball. 27-0 (8), “Lancashire tweeted.

Sundar had a bowling hand injury earlier this year while competing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022, missing a lot of games. He joined Lancashire last month to get back in shape for matches, and so far, he is been doing well for the English county team.

The former U-19 cricketer from India has played in 4 Tests, 4 ODIs, and 31 T20Is for the Men in Blue since making his debut against Australia on December 13, 2017, when he was just 19 years old.
