Young India batter Yashasvi Jaiswal has yet again oozed his class in Test cricket for his team. The southpaw has batted magnificently well in the second innings of the ongoing third Test at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot.

Yashasvi Jaiswal took some time to settle in and made sure he didn’t give his wicket away. However, once he was in, he set the stage on fire and brought his aggressive best, smashing the England bowlers all over the park with positive intent.

After Rohit Sharma (19) got out, Yashasvi Jaiswal held the fort and took the responsibility. The highlight of his innings was during the over of James Anderson when he took the pacers to the cleaners. During the 27th over the innings, he brought his best and made the Veteran pacer clueless.

Yashasvi Jaiswal hit James Anderson for a big six on the 4th ball as he pulled the short away up and over the deep backward square leg fence. On the very next ball, the batter hit the pacer for a boundary towards the over mid-off. He threw his hands on the delivery outside off.

If this was not enough, Yashasvi Jaiswal hit another boundary on the last ball of the innings. The batter played another cracking shot as he pressed back and played a sensational pull shot through cover to hit 14 runs in three balls.
Here’s the video:

Yashasvi Jaiswal didn’t stop there as he then went on to smash Tom Hartley and brought up his half-century. He got to the landmark with the six and ended the over of the spinner by hitting two maximums on the last ball. With the way he has batted, he has proved his prowess yet again.

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s innings ensured that India took a lead of over 200 runs with ease. He along with Shubman Gill made sure that India doesn’t lose any quick wickets after skipper Rohit Sharma perished early.

Yashasvi Jaiswal hits his second ton in the series

Yashasvi Jaiswal has held the Indian batting lineup in the ongoing Test series against England. He has been in the superb touch in Test cricket. After failing in Tests in South Africa, he made sure that he made a huge impact in the home series.

Yashasvi Jaiswal started the series with the power-packed 80-run knock in the Hyderabad. In the very next match in Vizag, he hit a sensational double ton and ended with an innings of 209 tuns that helped India win the game. The batter failed in the first innings of the ongoing game.

But he made sure that he set the stage on fire in the second innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal raced away to the century in 122 balls and brought his second ton in the series. He would be hoping to make as many runs as possible and put the team in a winning position. The batter has been in full control of his innings and has played almost every shot to perfection.
