Vaibhav Suryavanshi destroys Ishant Sharma in a 28-run over
Suryavanshi came out to open the innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal while chasing 210, and he went all guns blazing. He batted with an aggressive intent right from the very start of the innings.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi made the Gujarat Titans (GT) bowling unit, which is regarded as the best in IPL 2025, clueless. The veteran bowlers like Mohammed Siraj and Ishant Sharma had no answers to Suryavanshi's assault, and they were smashed all over the ground.
He went berserk against Ishant Sharma in the 4th over, and the pacer leaked 28 runs. In that over, Vaibhav Suryavanshi slammed three maximums and two boundaries while two balls were wide.
Suryavanshi wasn't done there as he also destroyed Washington Sundar in the next over and completed his fifty off just 17 balls. He registered 0, 6, 1, 0, 1, 0, 1, 6, 6, 4, 0, 6, 4, 6, 0, 6, 4 en route to his maiden fifty in IPL history.

I'm still backing Rajasthan Royals to put this one across GT - Sanjay Bangar
In an interaction on ESPNCricinfo ahead of the match, Sanjay Bangar said that he would back the Rajasthan Royals (RR) to win the match against the Gujarat Titans (GT). He said:
"Well, I do back Rajasthan Royals. Because Jaiswal seems to be the guy who is scoring runs at the right time. He may have a point to prove as well against GT. Good bowling attack.
"So, that could get his competitive juices flowing again. And last match, I did see that there were a lot of conversations happening after the match, especially after the batting inning. So, he would try and make amends. And along with that, Hasaranga would enjoy bowling at Jaipur. Because that's his style of bowling, a slightly lowish surface. And he's regained a little bit of his bowling form.
"So, those two factors are going to be quite crucial if RR has to put this across. But I'm still backing Rajasthan Royals to put this one across GT."
