Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batter Abhinav Manohar came up with a brilliant effort on the field during the game against Rajasthan Royals (RR). The match between the two teams is taking place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

After Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a massive total of 286 runs on the board, they were off to an ideal with the start with the ball. Simarjeet Singh took his team off a flyer as he picked two wickets in the second over of the innings, removing Yashasvi Jaiswal and Riyan Parag.

But it's fair to say that the credit for Yashasvi Jaiswal's wicket goes more to Abhinav Mahor than Simarjeet Singh. The Sunrisers Hyderabad batter came up with a brilliant effort in the field as he took a stunner to send the Rajasthan Royals opener packing early in the innings.

Simarjeet Singh bowled a short and wide delivery that was slapped towards the point by Yashasvi Jaiswal. Abhinav Manohar, who was stationed there, came up with the magical effort as he leaped up and took it with both hands.

The ball was traveling quickly, and it seemed that it would go for an easy boundary. But Abhinav Manohar did well to pluck it out of thin air. The wicket made pacer Simarjeet Singh pumped up as Sunrisers Hyderabad picked an early wicket in the innings.

Yashasvi Jaiswal couldn't start the IPL 2025 on high as he was back in the hut after scoring 1 run off 5 balls. With his wicket, Rajasthan Royals lost their first wicket and then, after that, went on to lose two more wickets, left reeling at 50/3.

After that, Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel bailed the team out of trouble. Both the batters slammed brilliant half-centuries. While the regular skipper scored 66 runs, Jurel ended with the score of 70 runs off 35 balls. The onus now will be on Shimron Hetmyer and others to take their team to the win in their first game.

Earlier in the day, Sunrisers Hyderabad had a brilliant outing with the at as they posted the second-highest total in the history of the IPL. Ishan Kishan was the star with the bat as he slammed a brilliant ton, ending with innings of unbeaten 106 runs.

Travis Head (67), Heinrich Klaasen (34), Nitish Kumar Reddy (30) and Abhishek Sharma (24) also contributed with decent hands as Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a massive total of 282 runs on the board in their IPL 2025 opener.
