There are very few cricketers in the world who are as animated as Virat Kohli while being on the cricket field. The former India skipper wears his heart on his sleeve and rarely shies away from expressing his feelings on the field.

Virat Kohli was at his animated best once again on Wednesday (May 22) when Royal Challengers Bengaluru locked horns against Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator of the ongoing IPL 2024, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

With things not really going well for RCB with the ball, Virat Kohli could not stop himself from venting his frustration on the field. One such incident took place when Yash Dayal was bowling the 17th over of the game. RR needed 30 runs from the last four overs and the left-arm pacer needed to come up with an extraordinary effort to revive his team's hopes.

He started well by conceding two singles on the first two deliveries before being hit for two fours in a row by Shimron Hetmyer. Those two fours effectively ended RCB's slim chances of winning the game and Virat Kohli just could not stop himself from showing his frustration.

A visibly furious Kohli was seen saying something angrily to the substitute players before slamming a bottle on the field in anger.

Watch as Virat Kohli loses his cool:

Talking about the game, RR thrashed RCB by four wickets to qualify for the second qualifier and knocked the latter out of IPL 2024. Asked to bat first, RCB finished their innings on 172 for 8. In reply, RR chased down the total in 19 overs to set up a clash with Sunrisers Hyderabad. The winner of the second qualifier will be playing against Kolkata Knight Riders in the final on Sunday (May 22).

While RCB failed to go all the way this season, Virat Kohli has had a memorable campaign with the bat. He is currently the leading run-scorer in IPL 2024 and is the only batsman with more than 600 runs this season.  In 15 games, Kohli scored 741 runs with the help of one century and five half-centuries.
