Indian pacer Akash Deep clean bowled England’s aggressive batter Harry Brook in sensational style on Day 4 of the ongoing third Test at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. The in-form Harry Brook went for a risky and pre-planned sweep shot against Akash Deep, but the gamble failed miserably.
The ball was full, fast, and angled in at the stumps. Brook tried to bend low and sweep it behind square, but the ball snuck right through his legs and rattled the middle stump. It was a great comeback from Akash Deep, who was brutally hammered by Brook in the 20th over.

India takes upper hand at Lord’s as England in deep trouble
Meanwhile, India took the upper hand on Day 4 of the third Test at Lord’s with a solid bowling performance in the morning session. The Indian bowlers got four wickets and didn’t allow England to settle and broke their rhythm early on Day 4 of the ongoing third Test.
Mohammed Siraj removed Ben Duckett first, who tried to pull but ended up giving a simple catch to Jasprit Bumrah at mid-on. Siraj was fired up after the wicket and gave Duckett a send-off, keeping the heat from Day 3 alive. However, Siraj wasn’t done yet. He came back and trapped Ollie Pope in front of the stumps.

The umpire didn’t give it out, but India went for the review, and the replays showed the ball was hitting the stumps, and Siraj got his second wicket. On the other end, Jasprit Bumrah kept things tight. Bumrah might not have yet gotten a wicket, but he troubled Zak Crawley a lot, using the uneven bounce to his advantage as the intensity of the previous day’s drama was still very much there.
Nitish Kumar Reddy delivers big blow to England at Lord's
Later in the session, Nitish Kumar Reddy came in and made an impact straight away. The young Indian all-rounder got Crawley out once again in the ongoing Lord’s Test. Crawley went chasing a wide one and nicked it to Yashasvi Jaiswal at gully, who took a clean catch.
Harry Brook tried to fight back with a quick burst of boundaries. But Akash Deep had the perfect plans to clean Brook's bowl. At the lunch break, England was struggling at four down without even reaching 100 runs. Joe Root and Ben Stokes will resume the play at 17* and 2*, respectively, but the pressure is on them to rebuild after a tough session for the hosts.
On the other hand, the touring side looked full of energy and completely in control as the hosts were leading by just 98 runs in the ongoing third Test match at Lord’s.
