Akash Deep Sixes Virat Kohli Enjoys

India National Cricket Team player Akash Deep came up with a valiant effort with the bat in the ongoing second Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. The Green Park in Kanpur is hosting the last game of the two-match Test series between the teams.

Akash Deep came to bat at No.9 with Virat Kohli's bat and made sure that he helped his team with some quick runs in the end. The right-hander was at his aggressive best and hit two massive sixes that took the team to a total of over 280 runs.

Akash Deep took Shakib Al Hasan to the cleaners, and after blocking the first ball, he hit the next two balls for a massive six. On the 5th ball of the 34th over, the batter got under the ball and smashed the big sixes straight down the ground to put the bowler under pressure.

On the very next ball, Shakib Al Hasan shortened his length and got the ball to drift in. Akash Deep hung back and heaved it towards deep mid-wicket. He timed the ball to perfection as it went a long distance as the batter entertained the crowd.

Akash Deep, in the first three balls, had hit two big sixes, and thanks to his heroics, India took a lead of over 50 runs in the first innings. However, the fireworks from him didn't last long, as he was removed by Mehidy Hasan Miraz after facing two more balls.

Akash Deep tried to hit the spinner out of the park but he holed out in the deep. He miscued the loft, and Khaled Ahmed settled under in to take the catch and remove the batter as India also declared their innings with a score of 285 runs for nine with a lead of 52 runs.

India had a great outing with the bat as they came up with an exciting mindset and took the Bangladesh bowlers right from the start. Skipper Rohit Sharma (21) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (72) gave the team a vital start with the bat as they added 50 runs in just three overs to take off to a flying start.

At No.3, Shubman Gill also played a vital hand of 39 runs but the major boost to the Indian innings came from KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. The duo made sure to cash on the start that was given by the openers as they also batted aggressively and added 87 runs in 59 balls.

Rahul slammed a magnificent half-century and ended with 68 runs off 43 balls. While Virat Kohli, on the other hand, ended with 47 runs off 35 balls. Based on the vital effort with the bat and blows by Akash Deep in the end, India posted a total of around 290 runs on the board.

They would now be hoping to end Bangladesh's innings as early as possible. Akash Deep will be vital for his team with the ball. He has been sensational with the ball in the last few innings and would be keen to carry on his good form with the ball.
