Anshul Kamboj, on Tuesday (May 20), gave Chennai Super Kings the crucial first breakthrough by dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal during the game against Rajasthan Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

The Rajasthan Royals opener came out all guns blazing to give his team a flying start. He made his intentions clear by hitting a four on the very first ball of the innings. In the third over of the innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal took Khaleel Ahmed to the cleaners by hitting him for three fours and a six.

In the fourth over, the southpaw hit Kamboj for a four as well to race away to 36 runs off just 18 balls. However, Kamboj had the last laugh as he dismissed Yashasvi Jaiswal on the very following delivery. After being hit for a four, the right-arm pacer clean bowled the India star to end his entertaining knock.

It was a back-of-length delivery on the off stump from the Chennai Super Kings pacer. Jaiswal wanted to hit the ball towards the on-side but was completely beaten. The ball went on to hit the off stump and ended Jaiswal's stay at the crease. The Rajasthan Royals star departed after scoring 36 runs off 19 balls with the help of five fours and two sixes.

Talking about the game, Rajasthan Royals were on 65/1 at the end of the 7th over at the time of writing this report. In-form Vaibhav Suryavanshi was batting on 12 runs off 10 balls while Sanju Samson was unbeaten on 17 off 13 balls.

Earlier in the game, CSK recovered from 78/5 to post a challenging total of 187/8. While the likes of Devon Conway and Urvil Patel failed at the top of the order, Ayush Mhatre made sure to give CSK a strong start by smashing 43 runs off just 20 balls.

Dewald Brevis then smashed 42 runs off 25 balls while Shivam Dube scored 39 runs from 32 balls to help CSK post a 180-plus total. For Rajasthan Royals, Yudhvir Singh and Akash Madhwal impressed with the ball, taking three wickets each.
