Abhishek’s sister Komal Sharma shared a short clip on social media where her mom and Indian pacer can be seen talking in a heart-melting way, and the clip of the moment is now all over the internet.

Actually, after Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) four-wicket win over the Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on May 19, Arshdeep walked up to the stands along with Abhishek to meet his Punjab teammate’s mother and seek blessings.

Speaking with Abhishek’s mother in Punjabi, Arshdeep said, “Give me the blessings that you give to Abhishek; I want the same.” Notably, Arshdeep and Abhishek both hail from Punjab and play together for the state team in domestic cricket.

Abhishek Sharma takes the IPL 2024 by storm with his explosive batting

Well, Abhishek Sharma and Arshdeep Singh both enjoyed a great time in the SRH vs PBKS IPL 2024 clash in Hyderabad. While Arshdeep returned with impressive figures of 2/37 in his four overs, Abhishek played yet another fantastic knock of 66 runs off 28 balls to help SRH beat PBKS by 4 wickets in their last league game of the IPL 2024 on May 19 in Hyderabad.

With this win, SRH finished the league phase of the tournament in the top two in the standings, and now the Orange Army is set to face the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Qualifier 1 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 21. The winner of the big clash will directly qualify for the IPL 2024 Final.

The young all-rounder won the Player of the Match award for his efforts against the PBKS. The left-handed batter is in great form with the bat for SRH this season, scoring 467 runs from 13 matches at an average of 38.92 and a strike rate of 209.42.

Abhishek has also hit the most number of sixes (41) in the ongoing IPL 2024 and would be looking to continue his red-hot form to add to his tally and contribute to SRH’s quest to make it to the finals by thrashing the KKR in Qualifier 1 in Ahmedabad.

The Men in Blue will kick off their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Ireland on June 5 in New York, with the team set to fly in different groups for the USA later this week. According to the reports, players involved in the IPL 2024 Playoffs will travel to the USA in the last group for the mega event.
