The 24-year-old India A all-rounder Ayush Badoni took an absolutely stunning flying catch to dismiss the United Arab Emirates player Muhammad Jawadullah during the match between the teams on Monday, October 21.

The match between India A and the United Arab Emirates is currently underway at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground Oman Cricket (Ministry Turf 1).

UAE won the toss and opted to bat first against India A

United Arab Emirates won the toss and elected to bat first in the match against India A. Both the teams got what they wanted as the Boys In Blue were anyway looking to field first.

Speaking at the toss, India A skipper Tilak Varma said that they would be happy to chase a total of around 170-180 if dew plays a part in the match. India A skipper said:

"We wished to field first as well had we won the toss. Last game, we didn't expect any dew but hope to get it today. We are going with the same team. If dew comes into play, 170-180 would be good to chase. We will try to bowl well and try to curb them under that."

India A had a big total to chase in mind, but the brilliance of the bowlers made the job too easy for the batters. Rasikh Salam emerged as the top performer with his 3-wicket haul, and with great support from other bowlers, they bundled out the opposition for 107 in 16.5 overs.

Also, Ramandeep Singh picked up two wickets while Nehal Wadhera, Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Arora, and Anshul Kamboj got one wicket each. The most special dismissal in the innings came off Ramandeep Singh's bowling in the 15th over.

On the 6th ball of the 15th over, Ramandeep Singh bowled a fullish-length delivery to Jawadullah around the leg-stump. The UAE player tried to smash the ball towards long-on, and Ayush Badoni came running to stop the ball.

Ayush Badoni showed great efforts as he came in sprinting, put in a dive to the right, and completed an absolutely amazing flying catch as the 9th wicket of UAE was down. Muhammad Jawadullah had to walk back to the hut after scoring 1 run off 2 balls. Watch Here:

I knew that it was the last over of the powerplay and the batters would have tried to hit me - Rasikh Salam

The Jammu and Kashmir pacer Rasikh Salam looked terrific with the ball and in the last over of the powerplay, broke the back of the opposition by picking three wickets. He dismissed Nilansh Keswani, Vishnu Sukumaran, and Syed Haider in the over.

Speaking to the broadcasters during the mid-innings break, Salam stated that he knew the batters would go aggressive against him in the last over of the powerplay.

He further revealed that the pitch provided enough assistance to bowlers and added that it would remain the same in the second innings as well.

"I knew that it was last over of the powerplay and the batters would have tried to hit me. So I tried to hit the deck. The ball was seaming a bit and the help was there from the pitch. Look we have to give our 100% in every game and our fielding has always been the key. I think the surface will remain same and our batters are good. We will try to chase it as quickly as possible," he said.
