Ayush Mhatre, on Saturday (May 3), hit Bhuvneshwar Kumar for six boundaries in an over during the match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Set a target of 214 runs, CSK were off to a slow start as Ayush Mhatre and Shaik Rasheed managed to collect only 11 runs off the first two overs. In the third over, Rasheed hit Yash Dayal for a six and a four to give the innings some much-needed momentum.
And in the fourth over, Ayush Mhatre decided to join the party and took Bhuvneshwar Kumar, one of IPL's most decorated bowlers, to the cleaners. He hit the first three balls of the over for three fours before hitting the veteran pacer for a six.
On the final two balls of the over, the youngster hit Bhuvneshwar for two more fours to collect 26 runs off the over.

Meanwhile, 26 runs in an over by Ayush Mhatre is the most runs scored in an over by a batsman against Bhuvneshwar in T20s.
Talking about the game, CSK were on 68/2 at the end of the 7th over with Mhatre and Ravindra Jadeja in the middle. Mhatre was batting on 47 off 22 balls while Jadeja was unbeaten on 2 off 4. CSK lost the wickets of Rasheed and Sam Curran inside the powerplay.
Rasheed scored 14 runs before being dismissed by Krunal Pandya, before Curran was dismissed for 5 by Lungi Ngidi.
Earlier in the game, RCB finished their innings on 213/5 with Virat Kohli, Jacob Bethell, and Romario Shepherd scoring fifties. RCB were on 159/5 at the end of the 18th over and the 200-run mark was looking tough at that time. However, Shepherd hit a sensational 14-ball fifty to guide his team to a 200-plus total.
His knock was studded with 4 fours and 6 sixe,s with all the boundaries coming in the last two overs. On the other hand, Bethell and Kohli scored 55 and 62 runs respectively.
