Notably, Babar recently made history in T20I cricket, joining Virat Kohli as the only second player to score 4000 runs in the format. The Pakistan captain achieved this milestone during the fourth T20I against England. Babar took 112 innings to achieve the milestone, while Kohli took 107 innings to reach the feat in T20I cricket.

Babar is expected to lead Pakistan’s batting line-up in the T20 World Cup 2024, and they will have a big task this week when they face India in their group game on June 9 in New York. They are placed alongside Ireland, the USA, Canada, and India in Group A for the 20-team tournament.
